The Representative Committee of Hao Hao Buddhist Church in Tien Giang province has reviewed its performance in its 4th term (2014-2019).
As reported in the reviewing report, the Hoa Hao Buddhist Representative Committee in Tien Giang province has recorded many good results in religious and charitable activities in the first years of its 4th tenure, including one new commune-level management board of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church established in the province and two basic religious-tenet trainings for new converts.
In regard to charities, followers of Hoa Hao Buddhism in Kien Giang have contributed a total of over VND 6.7 billion to social, charitable activities, including the building of 22 local bridges, 2,248m of local concrete roads and 38 charitable houses, and provision of 2,835 packets of support to the poor, 450 scholarships to excellent students from poor families and 42,022 meals to the poor and the sick in the localities.
