Hoa Hao Buddhist charity kitchen in Dong Nai proactively supports Covid-19 prevention work

For the last months the charity kitchen of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Dinh Quan town of Dong Nai province’s Dinh Quan district has successfully mobilized resources from Hoa Hao Buddhists and other donors for offering free meals to people badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
From April to now, each day, the charity kitchen has presented 600 meal sets to quarantine centers and 10 quarantine checkpoints in the locality, worth over 1.3 billion VND in total.

The charity kitchen has also donated 5.2 tons of rice and 100 tons of vegetables and fruits, worth over one billion VND, to pandemic-hit people in the locality.

In addition, the charity kitchen current maintains providing free meals to patients of Dinh Quan General Hospital with the total contributing value of nearly billions of VND per year.
