Ho Chi Minh city: Sai Gon Protestant Church ordains new pastors

On September 9th, at Sai Gon Protestant Church under Vietnamese Confederation of Evangelical Churches (Southern), a solemn ceremony was held for ordainment of 3 Commissioned Pastor (CP) (CP. Lê Hồng Anh, Superintendent of Thi Nghe Protestant Church, HCMC; CP. Vũ Văn Quyên, Superintendent of the Cam Duong Protestant Church, Dong Nai province and CP. Cao Nguyễn Duy Thức, Superintendent of the Thanh Da Protestant Church, HCMC).

Attending the ceremony were representatives from local authorities of Binh Thanh district, HCMC; Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Bình, Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Confederation of Evangelical Churches (Southern); Pastor Phan Quang Thiệu, General Secretary of the Confederation of Churches, Chairman of Investigation and Ordainment Council region II; pastors and about 300 Protestant followers.

 At the ceremony, Pastor Phan Quang Thiệu gave the message regarding ordainment of pastors with the theme "suffering with Gospel." He also presided an ordainment ritual and Pastor Lưu Tự An presented the decision on ordainment of 3 Commsisioned Pastors.

On behalf of 3 new Pastors, Pastor Lê Hồng Anh expressed their thanks and pledged to do their best in service of the Church in the coming time.
