On Jan 4, the Health Care Committee under Caritas of Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC) Archdiocese conducted health-checks for 115 orphans at HCMC Youth Educational and Vocational centre in No 14, Nguyen Văn Bao street, Go Vap district.
The medical team conducting the health-checks was headed by doctor Mai Khôi and included eight professional doctors and three pharmacists. Representatives from the Health Care Committee of the Archdiocese Caritas consisted of Sister Maria Ngoc Hoa, members in the Medical Board. Priest Vũ Ngọc Đồng, Director of Vinh Son Caritas also join the medical program.
This is a year-long program undertaken by the Caritas of the HCM city Archdiocese aimed at supporting healthcare for the poor and those with special circumstances.
This program was sponsored by the Catholic Business group and in collaboration with professional doctors and Catholic medical groups.
