Lieu Quan Buddhist culture centre in collaboration with the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies in Hue organized on May 22 an exhibition on Buddhist worshipping statues in Central Vietnam.
The exhibition showed 54 images and artifacts of Buddhist worshipping statues, creating a vivid look at the process of the cultural exchange between migrants and residents, the Vietnamese and the Cham, folk and loyal customs, inner-region and outer-region, India and China, etc.
The event provided an opportunity for the community to appreciate values of various types of Buddhist cultural heritages.
The exhibition lasts until to May 29.
