Tram Hanh evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city solemnly held the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its church and Christian educational centre on April 20.
The event saw the presence of Pastor Vice President of the ECVN Nguyễn Hữu Bình, Pastor Kon Sa Ha Hăck Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Lam Dong, Pastor Bùi Phụng, Chairman of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province and about 400 members of the Tram Hanh and neighboring evangelical churches.

Local guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức and local authorities’ representatives.
Performing ground-breaking ritual
During the event, Pastor Kon Sa Ha Hăck performed ground-breaking rituals and read documents relating to reconstruction of new church.
The worshipping church will be built on an area of 435.5 m2 of land, and the two-story Christian education building has the total area of 442.78 m2, at an estimated cost about 5.5 billion VND.
