Tuy Hoa Evangelical Chapter in Phu Yen province under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) held on September 9 a thanksgiving mass on occasion of its 90th founding anniversary.
Attending the event were Pastor Head of the ECVN Thái Phước Trường, Pastor General Treasurer of the ECVN Phan Văn Cử, Pastor Superintendent of Tuy Hoa Church Chapter Lương Mạnh Hà, pastors in the ECVN’s representative committee from Phu Yen, and 600 members of Tuy Hoa Church Chapter.
As reported at the event, Evangelicalism came to Tuy Hoa city in 1929. In addition to its worshipping church, Tuy Hoa Evangelical Chapter currently has a large Christian education center on the area of 2000 square meters.
