Phu Thanh Caodai parish under the Caodai Tay Ninh Church solemnly installed the worshipping symbol of Divine Eye at a ceremony held on March 9 in Nhon Trach district.
Attending the ceremony were Principal Archbishop Ngọc Thưởng Thanh, Principal Archbishop Hương Đắt, dignitaries of the Church’s Representative Committee in provinces and cities, members from the Management Board of parishes of Caodai Tay Ninh in Dong Nai province, representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, local authorities of Nhon Trach district and Phu Thanh commune, and about 600 Caodai followers inside and outside the locality.
The Oratory of Phu Thanh parish was created in 1946 with the area of 144m2; its first oratory was built by temporary materials and has been upgraded twice, in 1960 and 2011. Over time, the original oratory has degraded and no longer fit for religious services. The construction of the new oratory on a total area of 313 m2 was started in 2012 and basically completed after over two years of construction.
