The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in Ha Tinh province’s Vu Quang successfully convened its 4th congress for the 2021 – 20216 tenure on August 27.
The congress held with a strict implementation of the Covid-19 epidemic prevention measures elected the new 9-member executive board of the district VBS with Venerable Abbot of Phuc Linh pagoda Thích Chúc Giác selected as head of the new board, as well as nominated a Buddhist delegation to attend the provincial VBS congress for the 2022-2027.
On August 29, the VBS chapter in Huong Son district organized its congress for the 2021 – 20216 tenure in the presence of Venerable Thích Hạnh Nhẫn, Vice Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province.
The event elected the 11-member executive board of the VBS chapter in the district for the 2021-2026 tenure with Venerable Thích Tâm Phương, Abbot of Nhieu Long pagoda in Huong Son chosen as head of the new executive board.

During the event, 20 Buddhist individuals and two groups were presented with certificates of merit by the VBS executive committee in the province for their practical contribution to Buddhist affairs in the 2021-2026 tenure.
