The ceremony taking place int Kon Tum Cathedral church was presided by Bishop of Kon Tum diocese Alonso Nguyễn Hùng Vị and attended by priests and sisters from the congregations.

The Daughters of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Kon Tum is a congregation specifically for sisters from local ethnic minority groups of Bahnar, Se Dang, Ro Ngao, Jo Long, Jrai, etc. The congregation established in 1947 by Bishop Jean Sion Khâm annually celebrates our lady of the Miraculous Medal on November 27^th.

During the ceremony, the congregation also celebrated 50-year and 60-year profession of monastic vow for 8 sisters of the congregation.
