Pastor Điếu Lé was officially appointed as Superintendent of Bu Prang Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Dak Nong province at a ceremony held on July 29.
The ceremony saw participation of Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee Y Djrên, Pastor Chairman of the Protestant Representative Committee in Dak Nong province Y Nđang, and large numbers of pastors, evangelists, deacons and followers in the province.
Representatives of Dak Nong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities also joint with Protestant dignitaries and followers at the event.
During the appointment ceremony, ECVN’s Pastor Y Djrên proclaimed the superintendent appointment decision and handed over the official seal to new superintendent Điếu Lé.
Bu Prang Protestant Church was officially recognized in 2011 and currently has over 650 followers.
