Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable Thích Như Thọ, member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Discernment Council; Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nguyện, Head of the city VBS Executive Committee and abbots of pagodas and monasteries and Buddhists in the locality.

Local guests at the ceremony included Chairman of the Ethic-Religious Affairs Department under the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyễn Cao Cường and representatives from local authorities of Lien Chieu district and Hoa Minh commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, while expressing his thanks to local authorities for their due attention to the provincial VBS in general and Tinh Quang pagoda in particular, Venerable Thích Nguyện Học pledged to do his best for Buddhist and social development in the locality.
