According to statistics, Can Tho city currently has 29belief or religious worshipping places of Khmer and Chinese communities, including 12 Khmer pagodas, and 13 temples and 4 cemeteries of Chinese ethnic group.
Of these worshipping places, Ong Pagoda (in Ninh Kieu ward) and Hiep Thien Cung (in Cai Rang ward)have been classified as national relic sites, and three pagodas of Linh Son, Cam Thien Dai De and Pothi Somron (O Mon ward) recognized as the municipal relic sites.
Can Tho museum also recorded a number of intangible cultural heritages of Khmer and Chinese communities, includingfestivals of Sene Dolta, Chol Chnam Thmay, and Ok-Om-Bok of Khmer people, celebrating anniversaries of Thien Hau Goddess, Quan Thanh De Quan and traditional New Year of the Chinese group.
