The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in Quang Ninh held on September 8 a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Truc Lam Dam Ha (Sau) pagoda located in Dam Ha district’s Duc Yen commune.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 epidemic outbreak, the event was organized with a modest scale, a strict implementation of 5K recommendation of the health ministry and without gathering of large people.
The construction project of Truc Lam Dam Ha pagoda on the total area of more than 6.64 hectares was approved and licensed by the district People's Committee according to Dispatch No. 58 GPXD-UBND dated January 21, 2020, including the main worshipping temple, an ancestral worshipping temple, a accommodation building, a guest house, a bell tower, a drum tower, and a three-entrance gate, etc. The main worshipping temple has the construction area of 265m2 with a two-story wooden structure.
The total investment of the construction is about 50 billion VND raised by the VBS executive committee in the province, the investor of the project.
