Auxiliary Bishop of Vinh diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Viên presided on August 27 the Confirmation Mass for 250 children from Huong Phuong parish in Quang Binh province’s Quang Trach district.
Huong Phuong parish currently managed by Priest Peter Lê Nam Cao has five congregations of Huong Phuong, To Xa, Phu Ninh, Thanh Son and Cao Lao with over 1,000 Catholic households and 6,325 people. In addition, the parish has a monastery of the Lovers of the Holy Cross congregation and a sponsoring center for children with disabilities.
