A club of local Catholic women set up for boosting “better religious and secular life” in Ha Tinh province’s Hong Linh town was formally made its debut at a meeting held on March 23.
The event saw the participation of Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women’s Union Bùi Thị Hòa, Head of the Vietnam Women Union’s chapter in Ha Tinh province Dương Thị Hằng and representatives of local authorities.
The Catholic women club in Hong Linh town’s Nam Hong ward currently has 50 members and aims at encouraging the implementation of the motto “better secular and religious life” launched by the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics.
