The Southern provincial government of Tra Vinh has received many returnees from localities of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, Dong Nai, etc. that have been hard-hit by Covid-19.
Sharing with their difficulties, Priest Nguyễn Thái Dương and parishioners of Kinh Long Hoi sub-parish in Tan An commune of Tra Vinh’s Cang Long district have offered free meals to 105 returnees temporarily living in the quarantine center set up in Tan An commune.
Since early October, meals have been prepared at Kinh Long Hoi Church from 6h00 am daily for distributing to those returning from Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces, and temporarily quarantined in Tan An.
As reported, during the social distancing imposed according to Directive 16, Priest Nguyễn Thái Dương, Head of Kinh Long Hoi sub-parish, has also sent essential supplies to poor people in the locality.
