Catholic Solidarity Committee presents support to disadvantaged Catholics in Ha Tinh

A delegation of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) on July 29 visited and presented gifts to poor Catholic families in Chan Thanh Parish in Ha Tinh city’s Thach Trung commune.

The CSVC delegation taking place on occasion of attending the 5th conference honoring practical contributions by Catholic in the central province of Ha Tinh was led by Priest Joseph Trần Xuân Mạnh, President of the CSVC, and joint by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the province Hoang Anh Đức. 

During the visit Priest Joseph Trần Xuân Mạnh presented gift sets valued at five million VND to seven disadvantaged families from Catholic parishes and communities in Ha Tinh, wished them to successfully overcome difficulties in the coming time and become devout Catholics as well as good citizens of the country.

He also had exchanges with the parish council of Chan Thanh on pastoral affairs of the parish over the past years.
