In response to appeals from local authorities and Apostolic Bishop of Ha Tinh diocese, Catholic parishes in Ha Tinh province’s Huong Son district have proactively supported to the Covid-19 prevention and control work in the locality.
On June 18, Priest Joseph Nguyễn Đức Ngợi, Head of Ngan Pho deanery in charge of Ke Mui parish and the social charity board and pastoral council of Ke Mui parish presented hundreds of gift packages containing rice, noodles, candies, water and facemasks to quarantine centers in communes of Son Trung, Son Truong, Son Giang and Pho Chau.

Also on June 19, the pastoral council of Ke Dong parish in Son Tien commune and sisters of the Dominican congregation of the Sacred Heart presented necessities to doctors and officials engaged in covid-19 pandemic fighting in Huong Son district.
