On December 30, Cai Thia Parish in Tien Giang province’s Cai Be district held a feast of the holy family for Catholic couples to celebrate their marriage.
The mass was presided by Priest Head of the parish Thomas Nguyễn Văn Phong, joint by 23 families on occasion of their 25th, 30th, 35th, 45th and 50th anniversary of marriage, and attended by large numbers of the families’ relatives and Catholic believers in the parish.
According to Priest Thomas Nguyễn Văn Phong, the feast is part of services for the holy family year 2017 and the primary purpose of this feast is to instill into local Catholic families something of the faithful love and the devoted attachment, as well as promote traditional values of Vietnamese families through the generations.
