A delegation of Hon Gai deanery Caritas under Hai Phong Diocese led by Priest Joseph Nguyễn Văn Thạnh on June 19 visited Quang Ninh province for presenting supports to disadvantaged families in the locality.
During the visit, 220 gift sets, valued at over 60 million VND in total, have been handed over to disadvantaged families and poor people in districts of Ba Che, Tien Yen and Dam Ha of the province.
As reported, the Hon Gai Caritas has also planned a visit in August for presenting supports to boarding ethnic children in Quang Ninh province’s Minh Cam commune, on occasion of the new school year 2021-2022, and a charity program named “porridge pot of love” at Tien Yen hospital.
