The Caodai Tay Ninh Church solemnly held a closing ceremony for the 10th religious training course 2014 on November 21.
Local authorities attending the ceremony included Mr. Võ Thành Công – Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh’s Committee for Religious Affairs; Mr. Trần Thanh Đồng, Head of the Caodai Affairs Division under the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
Caodai Tay Ninh Church leaders at the ceremony included Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh - President of the Church and Mr. Lê Minh Khuyên – the Church’s Vice President in charge of canon laws. Joining the ceremony were also 120 participants from 13 provinces and cities in the country.
It’s reported that, during 45 days of the course, participants learnt contents on religious tenets, canons laws, liturgy and administration. In addition, they also studied Vietnam's history, the Party’s policies and the State’s laws in general and religious laws in particular. 100% of participants were granted the course certification.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Võ Thành Công congratulated Caodai Tay Ninh Church on successfully organizing the religious foster training course and expressed his hope that when returning to locality the dignitaries will continue to cultivate virtues and practice religion in accordance with the laws, and set good examples for Caodai followers.
According to the Church, this was the final course for 2014, and the Church is planning to open three training courses in 2015./.
