Phuoc Kien Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai church in Ho Chi Minh city held on April 25 a ceremony to appoint new head of the parish’s management board.
The event taking palace Phuoc Kien parish’s oratory in Phuoc Kien commune, Ho Chi Minh city’s Nha Be district saw the presence of Bishop Thượng Sanh Thanh, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s representative committee in Ho Chi Minh city, representatives from 27 parishes of the Caodai church in Ho Chi Minh cit and Caodai followers of the parish.
During the event, Bishop Thượng Sanh Thanh performed religious rites for formally appointing to Priest Thượng Tâm Thanh, former Deputy Head of the Management Board of Caodai parish in Ward 10 as new Head of Phuoc Kien Caodai parish’s Management Board.
