From June 28 to July 14, Buddhist worshipping places in Tien Giang province presented 1755 gift packages to poor households, lottery sellers and workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.
These gift sets were contributed by pagodas of Thien Phuoc and Tinh Nghiem in My Tho city (500 gift sets); Lien Hoa monastery and Khai Minh pagoda in Cho Gao district (400 sets) and pagodas of Linh Son and An Duong in Go Cong Tay (300 gift packages),…
Each gift set contains rice, noodles, sauces, cooking oil, sugar, vegetables and some cash. The total values of these support packages were 525 million VND.
