Buddhist temples present medical equipment treatment of Covid-19 infected cases

Tuong Nguyen pagoda located in District 4’s Ward 6 and currently headed by Venerable Thích Minh Phú, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Ho Chi Minh City visited on August 14 District 4 Hospital for presenting an ambulance to the hospital.

The ambulance worth 1.2 billion VND would meet urgent needs of emergency transportation and treatment of Covid-19 infectious patients. 

On August 12, Nun Thích nữ Huệ Đức, Abbess of Quan Am monastery located in Phu Nhuan district visited Military Hospital 175 for presenting 10 Medicare ventilators, five barrels of Codi resistance-boosting water and other necessities to the Covid-19 treatment medical force in the hospital.

Earlier, Nun Thích nữ Huệ Đức and Tien Trien Wood Company visited on August 11 the Medical Center of Binh Duong province’s Tan Uyen provincial city for handing over 10 Medicare ventilators, 3,000 Promask N95 face masks, 620 medical protective suits and three barrels of Codi resistance-boosting water to frontline doctors in treating Covid-19 patients in the locality.
