Buddhist temple in Ba Ria – Vung Tau presents chatrity gifts to local disadvantaged people

Ngoc Thanh Vihara in collaboration with the Association of Victims of Agent Orange & Social Protection in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province’s Tan Thanh district held on September 3rd a charitable event to present gifts to the poor and victims of agent orange in the locality.
110 gift bags included rice, soy sauce, noodles and 200,000 VND in cash were given to victims of agent orange, people with disabilities, the elderly and poor children in the district. Total cost of the charity program was nearly 45 million VND, contributed by two Vietnamese Buddhists from Canada, Diệu Thoát and Lương Đức Dũng./.
