The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s buddhist family board in Da Nang city held on January 01 a meeting to award scholarships to Buddhist students with high academic results in the school year 2017.
The event was held in Phap Lam pagoda in the city’s Hai Chau district in collaboration with An Long and Ba Da pagodas.
During the event, over 200 scholarships valued at over VND 70 million were presented to Buddhist students who achieved high results in the university-level entrance exam and the city-ranking contest for excellent students for school year 2016-2017.
