Tu Xuyen pagoda located in Thai Binh city presented on January 20 200 gift sets to people with disabilities who were attending a Buddhist course on occasion of traditional New Year 2018.
The charity program worth VND 50 million was funded from savings to avoid the burning of votive papers that has been implemented in the pagoda for the past years.
On the occasion, the pagoda handed over a gift of Huong Tu Tam group (Hai Phong city) to Mr. Đỗ Văn Luyện in Quynh Phu district who has a tumor in his face.
Reportedly, Tu Xuyen pagoda organized six Buddhist courses for people with disabilities with the participation of over 100 members per each course in 2017.
