Nearly 500 poor patients in Quang Binh province’s Le Thuy district have given health checks and free distribution of medicines during a Buddhist charity program held on June 4.
The program was co-organized by Hai Duc charitable clinic in Hue city, Nguyen Quang Buddhist charity group in Dong Thap province and Hoang Phuc Pagoda in Quang Binh province.
During the event, a group of 40 doctors, pharmacists, nurses and Buddhist monks and nuns, as well as over 60 sponsors also presented clothes, cooking oil, sugar, milk and noodles to the patients.
