A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in Quang Binh province’s Quang Ninh district and the district’s Red Cross extended visits to families under the special-care policy in the locality on July 21-23.
The delegation presented gift sets (each gift pack worth 500 thousand VND) to 30 families under the special-care policy and families of wounded soldiers in the district’s communes of An Ninh, Gia Ninh and Luong Ninh.
On the occasion of the 70th Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day, the district’s Buddhist Chapter also plans to organize a requiem for heroic martyrs and pay charity visits to the poor in the locality.
