A Buddhist group from Dak Lak province organized a charity program on October 15 for handing over relief packages to people affected by Doksuri Storm in Quang Binh province’s Bo Trach and Quang Phu districts.
The charity program led by Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in Dak Lak province Thích Hải Thông was co-organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in Dak Lak province, Sac Tu Khai Doan pagoda in Buon Me Thuot city and the Buddhist Chapter’s Executive Board in Bo Trach district.
During the program, 400 relief boxes (valued at 500,000 VND each) containing necessities of rice, shrimp noodles, milk, ect have been handed over to victims of the last month storm in Bo Trach district’s Thanh Trach commune and Quang Trach district’s Quang Phu commune.
