A meeting to review religious affairs of Ante-Creation Caodai Church was held on Dec. 5 at Chau Minh Holy See in Chau Thanh district.
Attending the meeting were members of the Church’s Upper Council and Standing Committee and 350 dignitaries representing 121 oratories in16 provinces and cities.
Joining the meeting were Mr. Nguyễn Đắc Tuấn, Director of Caodai Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, representatives from provincial authorities.
The meeting reviewed religious affairs in 2014. Reportedly, in over the past year, the Church well observed the Charter and regulations, policies of the State; consolidated the Nine Religious Institutes and Six Religious Institutes; organized 20 practicing courses for 436 dignitaries; opened 14 training courses for 960 dignitaries and deacons; provided humanitarian aids to poor people with a total value of over 14 billion VND…
The annual meeting also approved the working program for 2015. Accordingly, the Church will organize Congress in parishes and the General Congress (2015-2020), complete reconstruction of Chau Minh Holy See.
