The An Duc oratory’s Caodai commune’s Management Board under the Caodai Correct Path Church in Ben Tre province inaugurated its oratory at a ceremony held on March in Ba Tri district.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal Ngọc Phụ Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Representative Committee of the Church and 2,000 dignitaries and followers in the locality.
Local guests at the event included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and local authorities of Ba Tri district.
An Duc Caodai commune was established in 1931 and its old oratory was degraded after many years of existence. The restoration of the old oratory was started in 2013 and completed in 2014, with a total of over three billion VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Cardinal Ngọc Phụ Thanh urged the An Duc Caodai commune to further promote religious unity and make practical contributions to local communities.
