Bac Lieu province: Grand Buddhist prayers on occasion of 40 years of national reunification

A grand prayer for the country’s peace and prosperity was held on April 25, on occasion of 40 years of reunification (April, 30, 1975 – April, 30, 2015).

The Buddhist ceremony was organized at Nha Mat ward, Bac Lieu city by the Bac Lieu provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee.

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the central and provincial VBS, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers inside and outside the locality.

Local guests at the ceremony included representatives from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Bac Lieu provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
