Abbess and lay Buddhists of Phuc Long pagoda in Hanoi offer meals to patients at K Hospital

Nun Thích Đàm Hoài, Abbess of Phuc Long pagoda located in Hanoi and lay Buddhists have prepared hundreds of meals sent to patients at Tam Hiep branch of K Hospital who are quarantined due to the COVID-19 epidemic.  

Nun Thích Đàm Hoài shared that responding to a call from Tam Hiep branch of K Hospital, on May 10, Phuc Long pagoda appealed to sponsors and launched a volunteer program for preparing meals sent to patients at the hospital.

The call received a lot of support from lay Buddhists and sponsors
 
Phuc Long pagoda receives 30 million VND in cash, 200kg of rice, 1,000 eggs, and vegetables, milk and sausages, etc. after three days of launching, Nun Thích Đàm Hoài said
 
Phuc Long pagoda has prepared 380 meals for patients in K Hospital
 
The pagoda also presents hundreds of face masks to patients being treated in the hospital
 
In the process of sending food to the hospital, measures for the COVID-19 epidemic prevention are strictly implemented
 
Nun Thích Đàm Hoài expressed hope to maintain this charity program until the end of the epidemic
