A solemn ceremony for priesthood ordainment of 26 deacons was held by Xuan Loc diocese on July 20 at its diocese cathedral.
The ceremony was presided by Bishop Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo, Auxiliary Bishop John Đỗ Văn Ngân, Bishop Dominic Nguyễn Chu Trinh and attended by large numbers of priests, relatives of new priests and followers
During the ceremony, Bishop Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo performed ordainment rituals for new priests and reminded them of their pastoral mission.
The newly promoted deacons came from Xuan Loc diocese (18), Thien Binh monastery (4), the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (3) and a new priest from Thanh Gia monastery (1).
