Vien Quang pagoda located in Nam Thanh commune of Nghe An province’s Nam Dan district in collaboration with the provincial Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion held on December 31, 2020 a blood donation program.
The event drew the participation of over 200 volunteers who are youth and Buddhists of the pagoda, and collected 140 blood units.
Venerable Thích Ngộ Trí, Abbot of the pagoda informed that the pagoda has held many blood donation programs, and three times in 2020, contributing to ensure blood supply for emergency and treatment.
