The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in Tien Giang province successfully held on June 28-29 its 10th congress (2022-2027 tenure) with the participation of over 250 outstanding monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the province.

The event taking place in Vinh Trang pagoda located in My Tho city’s My Phong commune saw the presence of Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn, President of the VBS’s Central Executive Council; Director of the Southern Affairs Department under the Vietnam Central Fatherland Committee Võ Văn Thiện; and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Võ Văn Bình.
