A large number of Buddhist monks and nuns in Bac Giang province attended on September 6 a conference co-organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Committee in the province and the Internal Security Department under the provincial Public Security disseminating state laws and policies.

The event covered basic contents of state policies and laws on belief and religion, current religious situation in Vietnam in general and Bac Giang in particular, the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, regulations of Decree 95 dated December 29, 2023 detailing articles and measures to implement the law on belief and religion 2016, administrative procedures and other legal provisions relating to belief and religion, etc.
The conference also provided explanations of practical issues relating legal stipulations and administrative procedures in the locality, etc.

On the occasion, participating Buddhist monastics also received leaflets identifying fraudulent activities in the cyberspace and measures to protect personal information.
