Religious organizations gather in 14th interfaith meeting in Ho Chi Minh City

The 14th Interfaith Meeting Program themed “Dialogue connecting people” was held by the Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese on October 27 at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center.

Attending the program included Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Năng of Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese cum President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam, and representatives of Catholicism, Buddhism, Caodaism, Baha’i, Islam, Minh Ly religion, and Hoa Hao Buddhism.

The program aimed to provide opportunity to enhance mutual understanding between religions, foster harmony and respect for teachings of religions, and included five presentations by representatives of Baha’i, Caodaism, Buddhism, Minh Ly religion and Catholicism, art performances praising solidarity, mutual love and the joy of gathering, and prayers for peace and victims of natural disasters.
