A ceremony for receiving support supplies sent by Tu Hanh pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Tan district was held on January 4 by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) chapter in Ben Tre province.

The event taking place at Vien Minh pagoda located in Ben Tre City’s An Hoi ward saw the presence of Most Venerable Thích Nhựt Tấn, Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee in Ben Tre.
During the event, the VBS chapter in Ben Tre province received 2,000 gift sets valued at 600 million VND from the representative of Tu Hanh pagoda.
Speaking at the event, Most Venerable Thích Nhựt Tấn thanked Tu Hanh pagoda and informed that the VBS chapter in Ben Tre would present support supplies to poor locals and blinded people living in eight districts and the provincial city of the province ahead of Lunar New Year 2022 through the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
