Religious organizations join environmental protection event in Hanoi

160 members of religious organizations in Hanoi participated in a program on environmental protection held on March 23 at Indira Gandhi Park located in Ba Dinh district.

During the event themed “Joining hands for a green Hanoi”, 160 followers from six religious organizations in Hanoi, namely, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Baha’i religion, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were divided into 11 groups for collecting waste around the park and picking up garbage arround Thanh Cong Lake.

The event practically contributed to promote religious engagement as well as religious unity for the enviromental protection in the city.
