Tran Van Thoi Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Cao Dai Church in Ca Mau province’s Tran Van Thoi district held on October 14 a stone-laying ceremony for the reconstruction of its oratory located in the district’s Song Doc town.
Present at the event included Cardinal Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh, Priest Chairman of the Caodai Church’s Representative Committee in the province Thái Hiệp Thanh, and representatives of local authorities.
Tran Van Thoi Caodai parish was established in 1967 and its oratory has seriously deteriorated after several times of repairs. The district authorities approved for the Caodai parish to rebuild its oratory on an area of 988 square meters in April 2022.
Addressing the event, Cardinal Chairman Thượng Tám Thanh asked the Caodai parish’s management board to promote solidarity and early complete the reconstruction in order to meet the practicing need of the church’s members in the locality.
