An Minh Bac congregation of An Bien Evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in An Minh Bac commune of Kien Giang province’s U Minh Thuong official made its debut at a ceremony held on June 2.

The event saw the participation of Pastor Lê Hoàng Long, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Kien Giang, Pastor Nguyễn Bình Tín, Head of the Church’s representative board in the province, pastors, commissioned pastors, missionaries, local authorities’ representatives and members of the evangelical chapter.

An Bien evangelical chapter was established in 2011, and since then evangelicals in An Minh Bac commune have joint in An Bien chapter for religious practices. In 2022, the People’s Committee in An Minh Bac granted a certificate of establishment to An Minh Bac evangelical congregation under An Bien chapter.
