New evangelical churches inaugurated in Ho Chi Minh city & Dak Nong province

Hiep Binh Chanh Evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Thu Duc city held on June 11 a ceremony to inaugurate its church.

The event saw the presence of Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự,  Pastor Head of Hiep Binh Chanh chapter Đào Minh Hồng Ân, representatives from Thu Duc city authorities and members of the chapter.

As reported at the event, the People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh city approved the establishment of Hiep Binh Chanh chapter in 2020 with 111 members headed by Pastor Nguyễn Ngọc Tốt. The worshipping church of the chapter with 28.5 meters long, 10 meters wide and 14 meters high has been built by solid materials.

*On the same day, Bu Bong evangelical chapter in Dak Bukso commune of Dak Nong province’s Tuy Duc district also inaugurated its new church.

Present at the inaugurating ceremony included Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Hữu Bình, Pastor Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Dak Nong  Y Djrên, pastors of the Church’s representative committee in the province, representatives from local authorities and over 800 members from Bu Bong and neighboring ECVN’s chapters.

Bu Bong evangelical chapter was established in 1990 with over 700 members belonging to M’Nong ethnic group and headed by Pastor Head of the Church’s representative committee in the province Điểu Phi. The worshipping church of the chapter has been completed after three years of construction and with the total cost of over 2.9 billion VND.
