Hoa Hao Buddhist Executive Board in Dong Thap presents charity houses to disadvantaged households

The Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Phu Dien commune of Dong Thap province’s Thap Muoi district in collaboration with the district Red Cross Association on May 9 presented 73 charity houses to near-poor and poor households in the locality.
Through a financial support from sponsors, the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s Executive Board in Phu Dien commune has sponsored the construction of a new house for 73 near-poor and poor households in the district. Each house was built with the total cost of from 35 to 80 million VND. The Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s Executive Board in Phu Dien commune, Ngoc Tung Company from Ho Chi Minh city and other sponsors have presented 25 million VND to each household in the locality.
On this occasion, each household also received a gift set of rice, noodles and daily necessities worth 500,000 VND.
