The Committee for Solidarity of Catholics (CSC) in Nghe An convened on July 26 the 9th plenary meeting for the 2017-2022 tenure

At the meeting

Joining the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyễn Đức Thành and representatives from the provincial Party Commission for Mass Mobilizations, and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.

The event reviewed the provincial CSC’s performance in the first six months of 2022, as well as had exchanges on key tasks in the six last months of the year and preparations for the 8th congress of Vietnamese Catholic building and protecting the homeland for the 2022-2027 tenure.

As reported, in the first half of 2022, lay Catholics in the province have donated 5,710 m2 of land, dismantled 1,943m2 of walls, donated 4,021 working days and over 4.2 billion VND, and built 15km of concrete rural roads.
