A Sacrament of Confirmation mass for youth took place in An Duc parish under My Tho diocese in Trung An commune of Tien Giang province’s My Tho city on June 5
The event saw the presence of Bishop of My Tho diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm, priests, youth and their relatives.
During the mass, Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm performed the rite of Confirmation for 71 teenagers from three parishes of An Duc (56 youth), Tan Long (7 youth) and Thoi Son (8 youth).
The Confirmation is the third sacrament of initiation (including Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist), with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Earlier, Cai Be parish in Tien Giang province’s Cai Be district also held a similar confirmation mass for 36 Catholic youth.
