The charity program officially launched on July 26, 2022 was an initiative of Archbishop of Hanoi Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên for assisting cancer patients undergoing treatments at hospitals in Hanoi.
In 2022 and 2023, the program provided afternoon meals every Tuesday and Saturday to patients in Tan Trieu branch of the K Hospital, the Agricultural Hospital and Branch 2 of the Central Endocrinology Hospital.
