Cang Long Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tra Vinh province’s Cang Long district held on August 9 a solemn ceremony for consecrating the Divine Eye worshipping symbol.

The event saw the presence of Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh, Priest Chairman of the provincial Caodai Representative Committee Thượng Khánh Thanh and over 600 Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality.
Guests at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyễn Thị Tuấn Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thị Nhã Hiền and Chairman of the district Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Minh Niên.
The original oratory of the Caodai parish was built in 1970 and has been degraded after many years of existence. The parish started the reconstruction of its oratory in 2013 with the investment of nearly five billion VND.
